initially this was a drafting font which i started using on the internet years later. i got inspired to make my own font when i looked at Walt Disney's font, i always assumed that his imagineers built the font for him, but that was the start of it all,

if you download for your own typing on your computer consider getting the shoots.ttf (true type font)

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://electricitymachine.com/font/shoots-font.css" />

when i (yesternight) got my laptop down and found the software i needed (font-create) i think, my largest shoots.ttf (which i used to cut out the fat) was 570kb, i jump thru the hoops at font2web.com and get the shoots.woff, then jump again thru the hoops at everythingfonts.com/woff-to-woff2 and end up with shoots.woff2 with 84kb a difference of 486 kb - (it was 483 kb on this drive to start with)

i have found that the sequence of these @font-face variations is important, i wanted woff2 (84kb) to be used by webkit browsers, and was not able to achieve that until i got the woff2 in the first position and moved eot?#iefix to the last position, i am using this on my stylesheet at the moment

<style>
@font-face{font-family:'shoots';font-style:'normal';font-weight:'300';src:local('shoots'),local('shoots'),
url('http://electricitymachine.com/font/shoots.woff2') format('woff2'),
url('http://electricitymachine.com/font/shoots.woff') format('woff'),
url('http://electricitymachine.com/font/shoots.ttf') format('truetype'),
/*url('http://electricitymachine.com/font/shoots.eot'),*/
url('http://electricitymachine.com/font/shoots.eot?#iefix') format('embedded-opentype');}
</style>

i am not using this script from google at the moment:

<script>
var font=new
fontface("shoots","url(http://electricitymachine.com/font/shoots.woff2)",{style:"normal",weight:"300"});font.load();font.ready().then(function(){document.fonts.add(font);document.body.style.fontfamily="shoots";var a=document.getelementbyid("content");a.style.visibility="visible"});
</script>

i am not using this stylesheet either: this had to do with try to get cbox.ws to show my font,, i could not get it to work - i was trying to mimic the Google Fonts API.

<link rel="stylesheet" type='text/css" href="http://electricitymachine.com/font/css?family=shoots" />

shoots.woff2 84kb
shoots.woff 251kb
shoots.ttf 325kb
shoots.eot 325kb
shoots.otf 573kb
shoots.svg 1,545kb
GoD = Generate on Demand

i was able to count out these GoD tables using Chami's htmlkit with a custom plugin:
mmNumbers.hks which ends up on your
MyPlugins toolbar when you install,
it requires manual change of the number range of which "chart" you are
emulating at Unicode and restarting HTML-Kit
