Personal Profile

Your Personal Profile Tab should be filled out - really just to give people an idea of what you are about. Fill in the various profile categories, and if you have some sort of image you would like to offer other users click the Browse Button at the bottom.

Hilight your pic and click Open.
Browse for your pic. Hilight it, and click Open.

In this example I used the simplest path possible to my pic file to illustrate what you are doing with this "Open." You are telling your pc exactly where your picture is. I located my shootsrubberbandsatthestars.jpg right on the C:\ drive (not inside of a folder). If someone just sent you a picture that you now want to post for everyone to see, then it is probably in your C:\Program Files\Tribal Voice\PowWow32 folder. You can not type the path in, and browsing for the pic is easier. If you can not find your file, go to Start Button / Find, enter the file name and file type in this format: filename.jpg and click FIND. In the new version of PowWow new filetypes are supported for pictures, included now are: .jpeg, .bmp, .gif. Animated gifs are not supported but I have tried it out and it does show the first cell of the animation. If you are in a community when you change or add your pic - you must log out of PowWow and start PowWow again.
